It can be a challenge to quiet your mind when you’re used to thinking not just for yourself, but for a whole family, or just trying to stay on top of things while juggling inherited beliefs. This is the time to retrain yourself—to begin aligning your mind and body to stillness. Cut it all off: the busy brain, the noise from outside, what happened last night.
Let it all go, and take a moment to focus on your life—your breath, your heartbeat. Just listen to the proof that you are alive, and allow your spirit to enhance your presence.
Concentrate on joy, healing, love, and how grateful you are to be on this journey.
Sometimes, I light a candle before a GLP-1 shot or before sitting down to work. An intimate self reminder to breathe.
I’ll sit at my desk, take a deep inhale, exhale, relax, focus in on the present. The stillness. Inhale again, exhale - slowly. Then I'll say out loud:
“Thank you, God, my ancestors, my creator, and the universe of which I am connected. I accept all good you have for me. Spirit, flow through me and let what I create heal me and serve others.”
Then I light the candle. It’s just a little floaty one on my desk, nothing fancy. The flame helps me slow down, listen, and settle into myself. Some days, I stare at it for a minute and relish in the silence, stillness. Some days, I jump right into creating.
That’s the point — it’s about giving yourself permission to pause, however small that looks. You don’t have to be at an ashram to make space for peace. Your desk, your car, your kitchen counter — all of it counts.
Try this:
Before your next GLP-1 shot, walk, or journal session, light a candle and simply say, “I’m here.”
That’s enough.
Shot Day Rituals (Simplified + Conversational)
Think of shot day as a self-care checkpoint. Before or after your injection, take a few minutes to breathe, journal, or just sit quietly. I like to remind myself:
“I honor my body and the work it’s doing.”
That’s it — no rules, no perfection. Just presence.
(Hermetic Principle of Cause & Effect — every small action you take creates a ripple in how your body responds.)
You don’t need an elaborate morning routine to feel centered. Stretch, say thank you, or write one line about what you’re grateful for.
At night, reflect — what felt good, what didn’t, what did you learn?
It’s not about fixing your day, it’s about noticing it.

I’m not a doctor, and nothing on this page is meant to replace medical advice. What I share here is based on my own GLP-1 journey, research, and personal results. Everyone’s body is different—so before you change your dosing, pause between shots, or try any of these practices, please talk with your healthcare provider. Use what resonates, leave what doesn’t, and always listen to your body first.

Hermetic Principle in Practice: “The Principle of Vibration” — all energy moves. Light exercise awakens your circulation, heightens awareness, and aligns your body’s energy with your mind and spirit, enhancing overall wellness on your GLP-1 journey.
One thing that really helped me when I was dealing with nausea was switching out plain bottled water for Pellegrino or another sparkling natural mineral water. The gentle carbonation eased my indigestion and calmed the nausea, making it so much easier to stay hydrated. I also added a slice of lime for a refreshing twist — simple, but it made a big difference.
Hermetic Principle in Practice: “The Principle of Correspondence” — what you put into your body mirrors how it feels inside. Choosing sparkling water, fresh fruit, and gentle meals helps your stomach settle, showing that small adjustments create meaningful relief.
One of the biggest helps for me wasn’t fiber bars or “healthy” snacks off the shelf (those are often loaded with sodium and hidden sugars I didn’t want). Instead, I leaned into fresh fruit and sparkling water. 🍉🍇🥝
✨ For me, this combination felt clean, supportive, and sustainable.
Hermetic Principle in Practice: “The Principle of Cause and Effect” — every action has a reaction. Nourishing your body with water, fiber, and mindful movement sets the stage for smooth digestion and supports your metabolic harmony with GLP-1.
On injection days, consider spacing your shots 7–9 days instead of the strict 7. This pause gives your body a chance to rest, recalibrate, and ease side effects like constipation, indigestion, or fatigue. Science shows GLP-1 remains active in your system for several days, so a slightly longer interval is safe and can improve comfort.

How long does Semaglutide stay in your system?
While clinical studies generally test GLP-1 medications using once-weekly dosing, some user experiences (including my own) and the pharmacology of long-acting GLP-1 suggest there may be flexibility—resting a little longer (7-9 days) between injections can sometimes help with digestion, nausea, or tolerance. But because formal trials haven’t tested extended intervals much, this should be considered something to explore with your provider, with attention to how your body responds.
Hermetic Principle in Practice: “The Principle of Rhythm” — your body flows in natural cycles. Gentle movement on shot days honors these rhythms, easing tension, supporting circulation, and helping your body respond in harmony with its natural pace.
Your body tells you when it’s ready for the next potency. This isn’t just about increasing a number — it’s about tuning in, noticing subtle shifts, and responding with awareness.
Watch for signs like:
These signals indicate your system can safely handle the next step. Journaling cravings, energy shifts, or digestion notes helps you track readiness.
Pausing between doses (7–9 days) lets your metabolism and mind catch up, smoothing the transition and reducing discomfort.
Hermetic Principle in Practice: “As above, so below” — your external results mirror your internal readiness. Respect both, and your progression will be natural, aligned, and sustainable.
